Harris Theater

809 Liberty Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15222
412-682-4111 (showtimes hotline)

Located in the nationally and locally registered Penn-Liberty Historic District, the Harris Theater was the first theater in Pittsburgh to commercially show “art movies” until competition from other city theaters led to its conversion to an adult, pornographic movie house in the 1960s. While owned by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, the Harris Theater has been operated by Pittsburgh Filmmakers since 1995. The theater seats 200, and is open to the public 7 days a week.

To reach the Harris, see the map below or mapquest.
